When you’re ready, I’ll send your booking link to reserve your date. After booking, we’ll continue planning together with wardrobe guidance, prep resources, location updates, and direct email or text communication leading up to your session.

Before our Google Meet, I’ll create a personalized Pinterest mood board around the look and feeling you’re drawn to.

During the call, we’ll walk through your inspiration, explore possible locations, and look at selected past client galleries so you can see how different settings, seasons, and lighting can shape a session.

I’ll also show you what your finished Pixieset gallery experience will look like and how your included Fine Art Heirloom Print is presented, so you have a clear picture of the experience from planning through delivery.

We’ll start exploring locations during your planning consultation based on the look, season, and experience you want.

Because Austin and Hill Country locations can change quite a bit throughout the year, I also keep an eye on how they’re looking as your session approaches. When needed, I’ll visit potential locations in person and send you current photos so we can choose the setting that looks best for your date.

Absolutely. For surprise proposals, we’ll meet at the location for a separate in-person walkthrough before proposal day.

We’ll map out where you’ll stand, how you’ll approach the spot, where I’ll photograph from, and how the moment will unfold. That lets me stay discreet while giving you a clear plan for what to do when the big moment arrives.

I’ll photograph the proposal discreetly from our planned position and capture those first reactions. Once the surprise is over, I’ll step in and we’ll transition directly into your engagement portrait session while the excitement is still fresh.

There’s no need to book a second photoshoot or recreate the moment later.

A proposal session includes discreet coverage of the surprise followed by your engagement portraits together.

If you’re already engaged, your entire booked session time is devoted to engagement portraits, giving us more time for movement, variety, and the two of you together.

Both use the same Mila Moments package options and receive the same thoughtful planning experience.

Absolutely. Pets are welcome, and I love including them when they’re part of your story.

We’ll plan around the location, your pet’s comfort, and the flow of the session so we can capture meaningful photographs together while still leaving plenty of time for the two of you.

I monitor the forecast closely leading up to outdoor sessions. If weather may affect our plans, I’ll text you directly so we can make a quick decision.

If conditions aren’t right, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost. For surprise proposals, all time-sensitive communication is handled discreetly so we don’t risk spoiling the surprise.

Absolutely. If you’d like a bouquet, I can take care of the sourcing, pickup, and delivery so it’s one less detail for you to manage.

The cost of the flowers and the sourcing/delivery fee are added to your final invoice.

A retainer reserves your session date, and the remaining balance is due after your session — so you never pay everything up front.
