When in my pregnancy should I book my maternity photoshoot?
Most maternity sessions are photographed around 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined and you’re usually still comfortable moving around. I recommend reserving your date earlier, especially if you want a specific weekend or golden-hour time.
How much does a maternity photoshoot in Austin cost?
Maternity photography packages begin at $695 for Essential Moments. Cherished Moments is $845 and is the most popular option, while Golden Moments is $1,145 for the fullest experience. You can compare everything included in the packages above.
How does the booking process work?

How do we choose the right package?
Essential is best for a simple session with one location and one look. Cherished offers the best balance of time and variety and is our most popular option. Golden is the fullest experience, with more time for multiple looks, locations, and a relaxed pace.
Should I choose an outdoor or in-home maternity session?
Both can be beautiful — it really depends on how you want your maternity photos to feel. Outdoor sessions are perfect for golden light, natural scenery, and a little more movement. In-home sessions feel intimate, relaxed, and personal, and are especially comfortable during Austin’s hottest months.

What should I wear for my maternity photoshoot?
You don’t have to figure it out alone. Before your session, I’ll help with wardrobe ideas, colors, and styling based on your location and the look you’re drawn to. You’ll also receive personalized inspiration so everything feels cohesive and true to you.
Can my partner or children be included?
Absolutely. Partners and children are welcome, and I’ll make sure we capture a mix of maternity portraits and genuine connection with the people closest to you. Your session can feel as focused on motherhood or as family-centered as you’d like.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
I monitor the forecast closely leading up to your session. If the weather won’t give us the conditions we need, I’ll reach out and we’ll reschedule at no extra cost so we can photograph your session in better light and weather.
Do you offer payment plans?
A retainer reserves your session date, and the remaining balance is due after your session — so you never pay everything up front. Flexible installment options are also available through Klarna and Affirm at checkout.

Absolutely. You can book maternity now and add a newborn session later, subject to availability. If you already know you want both, the Maternity + Newborn Bundle is the best value — you’ll save up to $195 and receive priority newborn scheduling around your due date.
What areas do you serve?
I’m based in Bee Cave/Lakeway and photograph maternity sessions throughout Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and the Texas Hill Country. Not sure if your location is within the service area? Send an inquiry and I’ll be happy to check.
When will we receive our gallery?
Your full gallery will be ready within 14-21 business days of your session. Every image is individually edited in the Mila Moments style — natural, timeless, and full of emotion.
Need it sooner? A $50 rush delivery option is available for special dates or occasions.

You’ll have lifetime access to your private online gallery, so you can view, share, and download your photographs anytime — even years later.
